My name is Rachael Smith. I am a fully qualified and insured Complementary Therapist and member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
I aim to provide quality, bespoke and affordable Complementary Therapy treatments
With every treatment I aspire to treat my clients as a whole and not just treat or mask any obvious symptoms.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I have always had an interest Holistic Therapies such as massage and reflexology. In 2008 I achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Therapies at Oldham College.In 2010 I felt it was the right time to broaden my knowledge and expertise. I went on to study a Foundation Degree in Complementary Therapy at Bolton University.
I have been working at a local practice for the last 15 months and have been delivering mobile therapy treatments for clients in their homes for the last two years.
My knowledge extends to the latest and most up to date techniques combined with current practical experience. I am able to provide the best possible treatments, tailored to individual clients.

With every first treatment a full consultation is carried out. This helps to identify any current conditions and your initial reasons for consulting me. With this information I will be able to formulate a suitable bespoke treatment plan for you. This consultation only takes a few minutes.
Swedish/Deep Tissue massage
Swedish massage is a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying deep pressure. This therapy is ideal for a range of physical problems such as muscle tension and is also a great psychological and emotional stress reliever, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Deep tissue massage is similar to a swedish massage but is a much deeper treatment and targets underlying muscles.

Hot & Cold Stone Massage
Hot and Cold Stone Massage is the application of basalt stones that have either been heated or cooled.
This treatment creates a state of deep relaxation with a sensation of comfort and warmth.
The heat of the stones enables a deeper penetration of the muscle tissue and joints along with the cold stones’ refreshing and invigorating properties.
The hot and cold stones can either be used combined or separately.
